Meet Arne Jensen
I inherited a love for gardening from my grandfather and father. Before I was ten, I was mowing neighborhood lawns and spreading bark dust. I realized in my 20’s that landscaping should become my vocation rather than simply a hobby. I returned to college for a horticulture degree at Oregon State University. Before I finished, I established Arne Jensen Landscaping in Corvallis, Oregon, where the business grew for fifteen years.
My family moved to Salem in 1988 where we transferred our business. My son Aren joined me in the fall of 1999 after receiving a Horticulture Degree from Oregon State University as well.
We are now joined by my talented son-in-law Travis Stubbs, so our business truly is a family enterprise.
Though I’m approaching 70, I’ve never lost my passion for creating personal gardens for new or old friends. Every day is a new canvas on which to work, fulfilling our motto- “after-all, we were meant to live in a garden.”
Meet Aren Jensen (Arne’s Son)
I had the privilege of growing up in the landscape industry learning from my father Arne Jensen the art of how to serve people. My father has modeled for me and our team a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
I grew up in Salem, Oregon and graduated from Sprague High School in 1993 and then began attending Oregon State University the following year. I received my Bachelor of Science from OSU in Ornamental Horticulture in 1999 and immediately joined the family business.
It has been a great honor to work alongside my family as we build beautiful landscapes and gardens together. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the most incredible people. Each project is unique and provides an opportunity to listen, serve and create.
Our Mission Statement:
To bring glory to Jesus Christ as we work the soil. To honor people above ourselves and die daily to our our rights. To lift our clients up as they trust us with their properties, providing a unique project experience that speaks of our desire to serve and care for people with the love of God.
